Travel Swellness: Boccone Trattoria Veloce at Pearson Airport

Hallelujah! The new (and much needed) dining options at Pearson Airport in Toronto are starting to open — finally, we won’t have to eat frozen wilted iceberg lettuce or eat another dismal burger.

I had a chance to check out the launch of chef Massimo Capra’s Boccone Trattoria Veloce in Terminal 1 this week. I’ll definitely be stopping there for a bite if I’m in T1. The antipasti and bar snacks were all delicious, especially the veal and pork meatballs braised in tomato sauce and the carciofini all romana (that’s the fried artichoke hearts pictured above).

Pizzas and pastas range from $14 to $16, and the secondi plates are $18 to $20.

And best of all, everything on the menu can be packed up to go.

Happy traveling!
